TRAVELLING TO EINDHOVEN

AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL AIRPORT.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has the most international connections. However, it is a bit further away from Eindhoven than Eindhoven Airport. There are direct trains to Eindhoven Central Station leaving from Schiphol (travel time about 1.5 hrs), see the international NS website.

EINDHOVEN AIRPORT

Eindhoven Airport is the second largest airport in the Netherlands, is much closer to Eindhoven than Amsterdam but has fewer international connections. You can fly to Eindhoven from more than 75 destinations all over Europe. DISTANCE TO THE CITY CENTRE
Eindhoven Airport is very well-connected with the city centre by public transport. Next to the terminal you will find the bus stop where you can get on the 400 and 401 bus to go to Eindhoven Central Station. It will take you approximately 15 minutes. ROTTERDAM THE HAGUE AIRPORT

This airport is closer to Eindhoven than Amsterdam but has fewer international connections. You can fly to Rotterdam The Hague Airport from more than 40 European destinations. The RET bus line 33 travels to Rotterdam Central Station and just 10 minutes and to Metro Station Meijersplein. From Meijersplein station, you can get to Rotterdam Central Station via RandstadRail in 7 minutes. From Rotterdam Central Station you can take a train to Eindhoven (about 60 min.).

BRUSSELS AIRPORT

Brussels Airport is Belgium’s main airport to which many international flights arrive. It is about 1.5 – 2 hrs by train to Eindhoven and might be an interesting alternative for some of you.

HOW TO GET AROUND IN EINDHOVEN

Whether you are travelling in Eindhoven, you can easily do so by public transport. The city has two train stations and dozens of bus connections. In addition, there are more than enough taxis in town to bring you from A to B.
