SDGs: a tangible reality for social innovators
Milouska Meulens will welcome you, on day 3 of the CWF2019 and announce Michael Green! Michael will tell you about the SDG’s: a tangible reality for social innovators:
“The SDGs are a bold promise made by the leaders of the world that by 2030 there will be a step change in the sustainability of our planet and our quality of life, particularly the least well off. That’s the plan.” But, as Michael Green will explain, that plan is woefully off track. “Business as usual won’t get us to the SDGs. We need creative leadership to take what is working and scale these solutions globally as well as to figure out how to solve the problems that we haven’t cracked yet.”
Michael Green will use the Social Progress Index to highlight where social innovation is already taking place and where it is most needed to make the SDGs a tangible reality.
