guides people in sparking sustainable change

Nuala Burns trains, (visually) facilitates and guides people in sparking sustainable change within organizations and communities. The processes she facilitates have co-creation and tranformation as guiding principles. With experience in methods as Theory U, creative problem solving, design thinking and visual scribing, Nuala shapes programs with different tools and frameworks depending on the challenge brought to the table.

Always present throughout her work is helping people see through different eyes by working visually, be it with markers, LEGO or other material. Because the best way to experiment is by giving your mind, thoughts and ideas a ‘hand’! Nuala began her career as a policymaker and innovator for the Dutch regional and local government and went on being a lecturer in Business Innovation for Avans University of Applied Sciences. She now works as a freelancer for a wide variety of clients in the governmental and educational field.

How Innovative! What’s Next??

The paradox of (un)limited food supplies

Co-creation with designers can definitely create breakthroughs. But a breakthrough does not make a business. In the Netherlands, we have already known a series of innovation programs in which designers were brought in contact with i.e. farmers. These programs often offer guidance, finances and publicity for the parties working together.

Interactive work session.
