Competitive cities versus liveable cities
We will start the session by explaining briefly how Barcelona has evolved into one of the most renowned Smart Cities in the world, and which of the projects seem to be working versus the numerous hurdles Barcelona has encountered in the process. Then, we would like to encourage participation of the attendees with some questions that can be summarized as follows:
- Is it compatible to facilitate mobility with quality of life and sustainability?
- What are the changes in our cities that condition the mobility model?
- Do these changes take us towards more sustainable or towards more competitive cities?
